Haven for Women is a safe space, where the residents get their basic needs covered, counseling, medical, some education and practical skills development through projects.
BWA donates P8,000 to HFW every month, which they spend on various things - usually baby diapers, baby milk, water and sometimes on things like cleaning materials, new rubbish bins or trolleys. BWA members have kindly donated clothes and toys as well,and it has been an absolute joy to personally deliver them as these items are always very welcome. HFW really offers a feeling of“normality” to those who it has been taken away from. Having limited resources, they are always very thankful for BWA’s continuous support.
